February Baldpate Overnight

37 pic photo dump. Was intending to spend two nights on the mountain but warm wet weather made me just stay for one. Lots of pretty snow on the trees and a few woodpecker shots too! Video to follow when I have time to edit.

  • My path into where I set up the hammock. Snowshoes required as bare boot would post hole.
  • Making water before making dinner.
  • Home sweet home!
  • Look for the woodpecker in these shots.
  • You can stop looking. I don’t think there are any more woodpeckers.
  • Something took a nap here. Not me!

    • In the Winter I don’t even see birds and squirrels when it gets really cold. On this trip I could see some deer activity, but not the deer. I know there are moose around there, but they are the invisible sort for the most part. You see tracks and poop, but never see the moose.
